# Wallets page

{% embed url="<https://youtu.be/3VyUDEbHI54?si=qRGWTKbtSZriZnGi>" %}

### About the Wallets page

In this section, the site searches for successful crypto wallets. The Wallets page displays a list of the found wallets.

<figure><img src="/files/WiZI67gI5U1ULNsMnii2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Each wallet has two rows of indicators - the upper and lower rows. By default, the upper row displays the parameters of the original wallet, while the lower row shows the calculated parameters for following this wallet.

<figure><img src="/files/AhXuAy7hIvVgkFWCSQ8L" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

To start your search, you need to select a filter to look for wallets. To do this, click on Wallet filter (the blue icon).

<figure><img src="/files/b7dmBzUvu8zRXCTLquJh" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

In the opened modal, you can choose either one of the Standard filters or create your own filter. Standard filters depend on your Pricing plan and cannot be edited. The higher your pricing plan, the better the Standard filters will be. Instructions on how to create your own filters can be found in the [Wallet filters](/wallet-search/creating-a-wallet-filter) section.

\
To select a filter, click the circle to the left of the name. After that, a table of wallets that match these parameters will be displayed.

<figure><img src="/files/mqP4dIlXgHUmhUiO6SWw" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Interface settings

The wallet table can be sorted by any column (PnL 24h, ROI 7d, etc.).&#x20;

The displayed columns (PnL, WinRate, ROI, etc.) can be fully customized. To do this, click on Interface settings and mark the period for which you want each parameter to be displayed.

<figure><img src="/files/IxI9LnXN4KwRiigQHtd3" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Using the "Change position" switch, you can swap the upper and lower rows of a wallet. By default, the upper row displays the parameters of the original wallet, while the lower row shows the calculated parameters for following this wallet.

# Creating a wallet filter

The platform is designed to allow you to create the most unique filters by combining different parameters over various time periods. It is truly a professional tool for finding successful crypto wallets.

## How to create filters

1. Click on Wallet filter (the blue icon).
2. Click Add filter.

<figure><img src="/files/c8KNULrfInFBPHx42m6T" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

3. Come up with a name for your new filter, such as New filter #1.
4. In the right column, you’ll find the filters. Select the parameters you are interested in and click the plus sign to add them.<br>

   For example, choose PnL Realized (in the Original block). Next, you’ll need to select the time period for which the PnL Realized parameter is calculated, such as 24 hours. Then specify the Min and/or Max values.<br>

   As a result, you will have: Find all wallets where the realized profit in the last 24 hours was at least $1000.

<figure><img src="/files/0T7T0LEqAB7loe0IKDxd" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

5. Filters are divided into Original and Following. Original filters pertain to the original wallet, while Following filters relate to the calculated indicators for following the wallet.\
   \
   With Original filters, you can find successfully trading wallets.\
   With Following filters, you can find wallets that you can successfully copy trades from. A wallet that trades successfully does not always guarantee that you will also trade successfully by following it.

<figure><img src="/files/XDZeaPyXATZhhLcBZM4L" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

6. Let's add the Following filter for PnL Realized over 24 hours with a Min parameter of $800.<br>

   Now, the system will filter all wallets where the realized profit in the last 24 hours was at least $1000, and the calculated realized profit for following this wallet over 24 hours was at least $800.

   <figure><img src="/files/rRbAmOCHEm3RKzwQKF2J" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>
7. You can use the same parameter with different time intervals to filter out the most successful wallets.

   <figure><img src="/files/f4QAcszDvRqtj80HFLgm" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Next, it all depends on the filters you create.

## Cost in Credits

Searching for wallets is a paid action. Payment is made in Credits:

* One search costs 5 credits per day or until the filter is changed.
* Each subsequent search results page also costs 5 credits per day. Credits for the previously opened page are not deducted. You can go back to previous pages and refresh the page for free.

For more details about [Credits and pricing plans](/miscellaneous/credits-and-pricing-plans).

# Filters list

Here, all the filters and their meanings are described.

## Original and Following filters

In our service, all filters are available in two versions: **Original** and **Following**.

<figure><img src="/files/OMLHEg14fGbsyahGwM0D" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **Original filters** relate to the performance metrics of the original wallet.
* **Following filters** pertain to the calculated indicators when you follow or copy the trades of the original wallet.

**Using Original filters**, you can find wallets that are trading successfully based on their own performance.

**Using Following filters**, you can identify wallets whose trades you can successfully replicate. It's important to note that a wallet trading successfully doesn't always guarantee that you will achieve the same success by copying their trades. Market conditions, timing, and other factors can affect the outcomes when trades are replicated.

Therefore, **Following filters** help you find wallets that not only trade successfully but also have trading strategies that are more likely to yield positive results when followed. This distinction ensures that you choose wallets that increase your chances of successful trading when you replicate their trades.

## PnL Realized

Realized Profit and Loss is the actual profit or loss from completed trades. This is the money you’ve actually made or lost after closing trades. It shows the real outcome of your trading, not including open trades.&#x20;

Example: Invested $100, got $150 back. Realized ROI is 50%.

Units of Measurement: Percentage (%).

## ROI Unrealized

Unrealized ROI is the potential percentage profit or loss from open trades compared to the invested amount. Shows what percent you could make or lose if you closed open trades now. Helps understand current profitability.

Example: Invested $200, now worth $220. Unrealized ROI is 10%.

Units of Measurement: Percentage (%).

## ROI Total

Total ROI is the cumulative percentage of profit or loss from all trades relative to the invested funds. Overall percentage showing how much you’ve made or lost from all investments. Includes closed and open trades.

Example: Invested $500, earned $50 (10%), open trades add $25 (5%). Total ROI is 15%.

Units of Measurement: Percentage (%).

## Median ROI Realized

Median Realized ROI is the middle percentage profit from completed trades when ordered. Typical percentage profit you usually get on closed trades. Helps understand what result occurs most often.

Example: Trade ROIs: 5%, 10%, 15%, 20%, 25%. Median ROI is 15%.

Units of Measurement: Percentage (%).

## ROI High

ROI High is the highest ROI observed in a trade. For a wallet, ROI High is the sum of all the highest ROIs from the trades. This is the highest percentage profit you’ve seen in a single trade. For the entire wallet, it’s the sum of these highest percentage profits from each trade.

Example: In one trade, ROI reached 50%. If you have three such trades, the wallet’s ROI High is 150%.

Units of Measurement: Percentage (%).

## ROI Low

ROI Low is the lowest ROI observed in a trade. For a wallet, ROI Low is the sum of all the lowest ROIs from the trades. This is the lowest percentage profit (or biggest loss) you’ve seen in a single trade. For the wallet, it’s the sum of these lowest percentage profits from each trade.

Example: In one trade, ROI was -30%. If you have three such trades, the wallet’s ROI Low is -90%.

Units of Measurement: Percentage (%).

## WinRate Realized

Realised Win Rate is the proportion of profitable closed trades out of all closed trades. Shows what percentage of your completed trades made money. Assesses trading effectiveness.

Example: Out of 10 closed trades, 7 were profitable. Win Rate Realised is 70%.

Units of Measurement: Percentage (%).

Min / Max value: from 0% to 100%.&#x20;

## WinRate Unrealized

Min / Max value: from 0% to 100%.&#x20;

## Trade Duration

Trade Duration is the average duration of open trades before closing. Shows how long, on average, you hold trades. Helps understand your trading style.

Example: Trades lasted 1, 30, and 60 minutes. Avg Time is 30 minutes.

Units of Measurement: minutes.

Min / Max value: from 0 to ∞.

## Liquidity

Liquidity is the median value of the liquidity of traded coins when ordered. Liquidity shows how easily a coin can be bought or sold. Median liquidity helps understand which coins you usually trade.

Example: Coin liquidities: $1M, $2M, $3M. Median Liquidity is $2M.

Units of Measurement: US dollars ($).

Min / Max value: from 0 to ∞.

## Tokens Age

Tokens Ageat the time of trade opening is the typical age of the coins in your portfolio at the time of purchase. Shows how long the coins you buy have been around at the moment you make the purchase. Helps understand if you’re investing in new or established projects.

Example: You buy coins that have existed for 60 minutes, 120 minutes, and 180 minutes. The median age at purchase is 120 minutes.

Units of Measurement: minutes.

Min / Max value: from 0 to ∞.

## First Buy Amount

First Buy Amount is the typical amount you spend on the first purchase in a trade. Shows how much you usually invest when entering a new trade. Helps understand your standard initial investment size.

Example: First buys: $100, $200, $300. Median amount is $200.

Units of Measurement: US dollars ($).

\
Buy Amount
----------

Buy Amount is the typical amount you spend on purchases in trades. Shows how much you usually spend when buying assets. Helps understand your standard investment size.

Example: Buys of $150, $250, $350. Median amount is $250.

Units of Measurement: US dollars ($).

Min / Max value: from $0 to ∞.

## Trading Start Date

Trading Start Date is the date range when the original wallet started trading. Specified in the format “from date to date”. This is the period during which the original wallet first began making trades. Helps understand how long the wallet has been active in the market.

Example: The wallet started trading from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2021.

Units of Measurement: Dates (e.g., from 01.09.2023, to 31.05.2024).

Min / Max value: from [Cut-off date](/miscellaneous/cut-off-dates) to today

## Trading Start Window

Trading Start Window is the time range when the original wallet started trading. Specified in the format “from X to Y days ago”. This is a period in the past during which the wallet began its trading activity. Helps determine the wallet’s level of experience.

Example: The wallet started trading from 30 to 60 days ago.

Units of Measurement: Days.

Min / Max value: from [Cut-off date](/miscellaneous/cut-off-dates) to today

## Closed Trades

Closed Trades is the percentage of completed trades out of all trades. Shows what percentage of your trades have been completed (closed). Helps assess your trading activity and style.

Example: Out of 100 trades, 80 are closed. Closed Trades is 80%.

Units of Measurement: Percentage (%).

Min / Max value: from 0% to 100%.&#x20;

## Capital Required

This is the amount of money you need to replicate the original wallet’s trades, considering reinvestments. It’s the amount you need to invest to copy another wallet’s trades, including reinvesting profits.

Example: To replicate the wallet’s trades, you need to invest $10,000.

Units of Measurement: US dollars ($).

Min / Max value: from $0 to ∞.

## Max Drawdown

Max Drawdown is the largest drop in your portfolio value from peak to trough. Shows how much your investments have decreased in value. Helps assess risk and volatility.

Example: Portfolio rose to $10,000, then fell to $7,000. Drawdown is 30%.

Units of Measurement: Percentage (%).

Min / Max value: from 0% to 100%.&#x20;

## Sharpe Ratio

In our case, the Sharpe Ratio reflects wallets that are the best to successfully copy trades from. It’s a metric that helps you choose wallets whose trades are most profitable to copy, considering risk and return.

Example: A wallet with a Sharpe Ratio of 1.0 is considered more attractive to copy than one with 0.5.

Units of Measurement: Ratio (dimensionless).

## Top Deal Percentage Realized

Top Deal Percentage Realized shows what percentage of your total realized profits comes from your single most profitable trade. The closer this value is to 100%, the more one deal dominates your overall gains.

High value (close to 100%): One trade contributed almost all of your profits. Low value (close to 0%): Profits are spread more evenly across multiple trades. Value > 100%: One trade contributed more profit than your net total because other trades lost money, so that single winning trade’s share exceeds 100 %. Value < 0 %: You had a winning trade, but combined losses on other trades made your net profit negative, so dividing the top positive trade by a negative total gives a negative percentage.

Example: Suppose you closed three trades with profits of $100, $50, and $25. Your total realized profit is $175, and the top deal was $100. Top Deal Percentage Realized = $100 / $175 ≈ 57%.

If instead your trades were $100, $1, and $1, then total = $102, top deal = $100, and Top Deal Percentage Realized ≈ 98%—meaning that nearly all profit came from that one trade.

## Top Deal Percentage Total

Top Deal Percentage Total is the same like [Top Deal Percentage Realized](https://docs.definest.ai/wallet-search/filters-list#top-deal-percentage-realized), but computed for Total Profit of all deals

## Profit Linearity

Profit Linearity shows how closely the cumulative growth of profits from closed trades follows a perfect “straight‐line” trend. The closer it is to 1, the more evenly and predictably your profits have grown.

High value (close to 1): Each successive trade added profit at roughly the same rate—no big “jumps” or “flat periods.” Low value (close to 0): Your total profits were generated unevenly, mostly driven by a few large trades rather than steady, gradual gains.

Example: Suppose you have three closed trades with profits of $100, $100, and $100. Then the cumulative profits are $100, $200, $300. These points lie exactly on a straight line, so Profit Linearity = 1. If, instead, your profits were $50, $250, and $0, the cumulative points ($50, $300, $300) do not lie on one straight line, and Profit Linearity would be lower (for instance, around 0.70–0.80).

Min / Max value: From 0 to 1.

# Wallet page

The Wallet page is a page with detailed information about a specific wallet. For example, let’s take the wallet [0xb5f6fc...c00e1d4bd](https://definest.ai/wallet/0xb5f6fcd9002dd6320b404ae80e6a814c00e1d4bd).&#x20;

##

## Wallet Balance

The first thing we see is two balances:

* The total wallet balance, including all coins in the selected network.
* The Ethereum balance, which indicates how much ETH is held in this wallet.

By checking the balance, you can determine whether the wallet is still active or if funds have been withdrawn.

**To the right of the balance, there is a Z button that links to the Zerion service with this wallet. In this service, you can view more details about the balance and transactions.**

<figure><img src="/files/XA9BHYG4v8uuNcOWoPkz" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## **Overview of Parameters**

Next is a table showing the indicators of the original wallet (upper rows) and the calculated indicators for following the wallet (lower rows). The parameters (PnL, ROI, Winrate, etc.) are listed on the left, while the time intervals (24h, 7d, 1m, etc.) are displayed at the top.

All of this can be configured using the Interface settings button located at the top of the page.\
From this table, you can already draw conclusions about the profitability of the wallet and estimate whether you will be able to successfully replicate trades, as well as how much money you will need to follow, how frequently trades occur, etc.

<figure><img src="/files/SiMOrQQE9K8gzcTYfDeZ" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## **PnL Chart**

The PnL chart for the original wallet displays:

* Green line - PnL of the original wallet
* Blue line - PnL of the following wallet

By default, the chart shows data for the past year. However, you can change the time frame below the chart.

<figure><img src="/files/B4DAU2zTetrXOujrRxpV" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Trades

A trade consists of a buy transaction, approval, and sale (as well as the corresponding calculated following operations). A trade remains in the Open status until 100% of the purchased coins are sold.

<figure><img src="/files/haRKxB5JhgZfWH3HqAth" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Each trade consists of two rows: the upper row displays the actual performance of the original wallet’s transaction, while the lower row shows the calculated performance of the transaction if we had followed this wallet.

<figure><img src="/files/IXML09MeoUP9LL442vVP" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Trade Statuses:**

* **Open** - There is a purchase, but no sale has occurred, or less than 100% of what was purchased has been sold.
* **Closed** - 100% of what was purchased has been sold.
* **Scam** - The coin is fraudulent. There can be many reasons for this: liquidity withdrawal, honeypot, etc. Unfortunately, not all scam coins are marked with this status. We continue to improve the identification of such tokens.
* **Oversell** - More coins have been sold than purchased. This can happen when additional tokens are sent to the wallet from external sources. Therefore, such operations may appear very profitable but are actually incorrect.

The columns with trade indicators can be customized in Interface Settings under the Trades settings section.

{% hint style="info" %}
Trades may contain errors! If you find an error, please report it to us using the **Send a Report** button in the three-dot menu on the right.

![](/files/WlfGMgjDG2edZ4WVYKKV)
{% endhint %}

## **Operations in a Trade**

Each trade can be expanded to see the operations it consists of:

* **BUY** - Purchase of the token by the original wallet
* **f BUY** - Calculated purchase of the token while following the wallet
* **APPROVE** - Operation granting permission to a smart contract or dApp to use your tokens
* **f APPROVE** - Calculated operation granting permission to a smart contract or dApp to use your tokens
* **SELL** - Sale of the token by the original wallet
* **f SELL** - Calculated sale of the token while following the wallet

<figure><img src="/files/oPY5dFsd2tQ5Ic21sSyk" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

In addition, you can expand each operation to see the details of the exchange. Here, you can view:

* **Coin Fee**
* **Router Fee**
* **Network Fee**
* **Router**
* **Application**
* **Transaction hash**
* **Swaps**

<figure><img src="/files/b5gfeg6X9DBzDs6Kx59A" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Search by Token Address or Name

<figure><img src="/files/LVMXgG0uQMvfdH8wu7p3" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Use the search by token address or name to quickly find the desired operation.

## Time period

<figure><img src="/files/TjtyJVQfAU3okIYPtLoH" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Use the Time period feature to calculate all wallet indicators only for the specified time frame. This can be useful if you want to assess how successful the wallet was over a certain period and compare that data with the current period. In this way, you can train your ability to predict the success of a wallet based on historical data.

## **Cost in Credits**

Viewing one wallet page costs 1 credit per day. This means you can refresh the wallet page within a day without incurring additional charges.

For more details about [Credits and pricing plans](/miscellaneous/credits-and-pricing-plans).

## Bot Overview

<figure><img src="/files/MEYF38A0RVS2QpjjX51x" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Take a look at the bot image above. Each row represents a separate bot. You can also group bots together to view overall statistics. For more details about groups, [click here](/copy-trading-bot/bot-groups).

Now let’s discuss the columns.

### **Name**

This is the name of the bot/wallet or group of bots/wallets.

### **Status**

* **Buy** - If this switch is on, the bot will copy purchases from the original wallet.
* **Sell** - If this checkbox is checked, it means one of the two settings, Copy Sell or Auto Sell, is enabled.
* **Balance** - The total amount of all tokens in your wallet/bot in dollars.
* **ETH** - The amount of ETH and WETH in your wallet/bot in dollars.

### **Errors**

Errors that occurred in the bot over the specified time period. If you see in the Errors column **24h - 10 (+5)**, it means there were 10 errors in the bot in the last 24 hours, of which 5 are new, unreviewed errors.

### **PnL**

PnL is the combined profit or loss from all trades, both closed and open. This is the total amount of money you’ve made or lost from all trades, including both Realized and Unrealized results.

Example: Realized profit is $50, Unrealized profit is $20. Total PnL is $70.

### **ROI**

Total ROI is the cumulative percentage of profit or loss from all trades relative to the invested funds. It shows the overall percentage of how much you’ve made or lost from all investments, including closed and open trades.

Example: Invested $500, earned $50 (10%), open trades add $25 (5%). Total ROI is 15%.

### **WinRate (Total)**

Total Win Rate is the proportion of all profitable trades (closed and open) out of all trades. It shows what percentage of all your trades are making money, including both completed and ongoing trades.

Example: Out of 15 trades, 9 are profitable. Total Win Rate is 60%.

**(Total) - Total Trades**\
This is the total number of trades made, including closed and open. It reflects the total number of all your trading activities.

  When you switch it:

  * Orders are placed as TOKEN/USDC or TOKEN/SOL on Solana, and TOKEN/USDT or TOKEN/ETH on Ethereum.
  * All amounts and limits in Buy and Advanced are interpreted in the selected quote currency.
  * The bot spends the matching wallet balance (USDC/USDT/ETH/SOL). The \~ … hints show the approximate value in the other currency.
  * There’s no auto-conversion — if you don’t have enough of the selected currency, the trade won’t execute.
  * It affects: Buy amount (Min/Max), Dupe buy amount (Min/Max), Max position per trade (Max position / Min buy amount).

## Copy trade

* **Wallet address** - The address of the wallet you will be following (to copy its trades).
* **Wallet name** - Come up with a name for the wallet you will be following.

<figure><img src="/files/2alk7qHzZC3IcmVXoSzK" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Buy

### Copy Buy&#x20;

This is the main setting that enables copying purchases from the original wallet. If this setting is turned off, the bot will not make any purchases.

{% hint style="success" %}
Enable this setting for the bot to be able to buy tokens.
{% endhint %}

### Dupe Buy

If this setting is enabled, the bot is allowed to buy additional amounts of a token that has already been purchased (i.e., there is an open trade).

### Buy percentage

Buy Percentage is a parameter that determines the portion of funds allocated to purchasing cryptocurrency when copying the trades of the original wallet. It allows traders to adjust the size of their investments relative to the trades made by the original wallet.

**Min/Max Values:** From 1% to 1000%. This means that a trader can invest from 1% to 1000% of the amount that the original wallet spends on purchasing a specific asset. Additionally, the purchase amount cannot be less than Min ETH and more than Max ETH.

Buy Percentage allows you to control how aggressively or conservatively you want to follow the original wallet. For example, if the original wallet invests $1,000 in buying Bitcoin and your Buy Percentage is set to 100%, you also invest $1,000. If your Buy Percentage is set to 200%, you invest $2,000, doubling your exposure compared to the original wallet. However, it’s important to note that the purchase amount cannot be less than Min ETH and more than Max ETH, ensuring that you adhere to the minimum and maximum investment limits set by your platform.

### Buy amount

Specify the Minimum and Maximum amounts for the first purchase in the token's native currency.

{% hint style="info" %}
The bot will purchase the same amount of currency as the original wallet, but no less than the Min and Max values you have set.
{% endhint %}

Please note that sometimes smart contracts have restrictions on the maximum purchase amount for newly created tokens. If you exceed this limit, a purchase error will occur.

### Retry times

In case of an error during a purchase, the bot will attempt to buy the token as many times as specified here.

Recommended value for Ethereum: 10.

Recommended value for Solana: 2. Max: 5.

### Copy Gas  (ETH)

When enabled, the gas amount for your purchase will include the gas used by the original wallet in the copied purchase.

### Copy Priority Fee (SOL)

When this option is on, the bot uses the priority fee paid by the original wallet plus the extra amount you entered in the *Priority Fee* field.

{% hint style="success" %}
**Final priority fee** = **Original wallet’s priority fee** + **Your added priority fee.**
{% endhint %}

### Copy Bribe (SOL)

When this option is on, the bot uses the bribe (validator tip) paid by the original wallet plus the extra amount you entered in the *Bribe* field.

{% hint style="success" %}
**Final bribe** = **Original wallet’s bribe** + **Your added bribe.**
{% endhint %}

{% hint style="warning" %}
Note: Copy Bribe is available only in Anti-MEV and Max Speed execution modes.
{% endhint %}

### Gas Delta (ETH)

Gas delta will act as the maximum priority gwei for ETH Type-2 transactions. Essentially, the bot will automatically adjust to the current average gas value and then add the chosen Gas Delta on top of it.

Example:

* Average gas usage is 10 gwei
* If you set Gas Delta to 3 gwei, the gas price for your transaction will now be 10 (base) + 3 (priority) gwei.

Higher deltas will result in faster transaction speeds at the cost of higher gas fees.

### Priority Fee (SOL)

A priority fee is a extra amount of SOL you add to the normal network fee so Solana validators pick your transaction first.

Example:

* Normal fee: 0.02 SOL
* You add Priority Fee: +0.01 SOL
* Total cost: 0.03 SOL

Higher priority fees speed up confirmation but cost more.

### Bribe (SOL)

A bribe is an extra tip (in lamports) you attach to a Solana transaction so validators give it the best possible position in the block, helping you avoid front-running.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Note: Bribe is available only in Anti-MEV and Max Speed execution modes.**
{% endhint %}

Example:

* Normal fee: 0.02 SOL
* Priority Fee: +0.01 SOL
* Bribe: +0.05 SOL
* Total cost: 0.08 SOL

Higher bribes improve ordering and reliability but increase cost.

### Slippage

Slippage is the difference between the expected price of a trade and the actual execution price, expressed in both absolute values and percentages.

Slippage can be expressed as a percentage of the expected price, indicating how much the price changed at the moment of trade execution compared to what you planned.

Example: Expected price for buying a token: $100. Actual purchase price due to slippage: $120. You overpaid 20% due to slippage.

Min/Max values: from 0 to 99%.

**Recommended values:**

* If this is a low-liquidity new token and you want to ensure its purchase in the first minutes after trading starts, set Slippage to 90%.
* If you are following a trader who is trading medium to high liquidity coins and the purchase cost is extremely important to you, limit Slippage to 20%.

### Execution mode

Execution mode defines how transactions are sent to the network, balancing speed, cost, and MEV protection.

#### Solana

* **Standard** *(slow, cheap) -* The cheapest option. Transactions are sent via the default route with low priority. No bribe required and no MEV protection.
* **Anti-MEV** *(fast, expensive, safe) -* The safest option. Transactions are routed through MEV-protected paths to reduce frontrunning and sandwich attacks. Faster than Standard, but more expensive. Minimum bribe: 0.001 SOL.
* **Max Speed** *(fast, cheap) -* The fastest option. Transactions are delivered through multiple parallel routes to maximize speed and the chance of block inclusion. This mode prioritizes speed and cost efficiency. MEV protection may apply in some cases, but it is not guaranteed. Minimum bribe: 0.0002 SOL.

#### Ethereum

* **Standard** *(fast, cheap) -* The cheapest option. Transactions are sent normally and are slightly faster than Anti-MEV.
* **Anti-MEV** *(slower, cheap, safe) -* The safest option. Transactions are sent using MEV-protected routes to reduce the risk of frontrunning and sandwich attacks. Slightly slower than Standard.

#### How to choose

* Use Standard for low-cost, non-critical actions.
* Use Anti-MEV when protection from MEV is more important than cost.
* Use Max Speed on Solana when execution speed and block inclusion matter most.

### Buy token once

If this setting is enabled, the bot will only be able to purchase any token once during its operation.

### Max active buys per token

Sets a cap on the number of open buy entries for the same token across all trades on this bot. Applies to all buys—copied, manual, and auto. When the cap is reached, any new buy is skipped until one entry is sold/closed. Leave blank for no limit.

**Example:**

Set to 3. You already have three open buys in TOKEN (across two trades). A new buy signal arrives (copied/manual/auto) → the bot skips it until one of the three entries closes.

### Platforms (SOL)

Platform — choose the decentralized exchanges (DEXes) on which the bot is allowed to trade.

### Dupe buy amount

Specify the Minimum and Maximum amounts for subsequent purchases in the token's native currency.

{% hint style="info" %}
The bot will buy the same amount of currency as the original wallet, but no less than the Min and Max values you have set.
{% endhint %}

### Skip new trade

Checks the leader’s current USD balance of the token whenever a new entry appears. If it’s above your threshold, the bot skips opening a new trade. Leave blank to disable. Does not affect add-on buys inside an existing trade.

**Example:**

Threshold $5,000 → the leader buys TOKEN while already holding $6,200 of TOKEN → skipped (no new trade). Later their balance drops to $2,800; on the next fresh entry your bot may open a new trade (subject to your Buy limits).

### Max dupe buy times

This is the maximum number of additional purchases. If you set Max dupe buy times to 2, the bot will be able to make a total of 3 purchases of the token: the first purchase and 2 additional purchases.

### Max Position per Trade

#### Max Position per Trade

Hard ceiling on how much the bot may hold inside one trade (first buy + any re-buys).

#### Min Add Buy

Minimum *remaining gap* that must still be available **under the Max ceiling**.

If the free gap is **smaller** than this value, the bot skips the next buy.

If the gap is **bigger or equal**, the bot is allowed to fill it **even with a buy that is smaller than your regular Min Buy Amount**.

{% hint style="danger" %}
**Min / Max value (Min Add Buy)**

* Minimum: 0.00005 SOL, 0.000002 ETH
* Maximum: no upper limit
  {% endhint %}

{% hint style="success" %}
**Priority rule:**\
Min Add Buy overrides Min Buy Amount.\
• Remaining gap ≥ Min Add Buy → the bot may buy that gap (even if it is below Min Buy Amount).\
• Remaining gap < Min Add Buy → order skipped.
{% endhint %}

**Example:**&#x20;

Settings

* Max Position = $500
* Min Buy Amount = $50
* Min Add Buy = $5

| Situation | Remaining gap to the cap | Action |
| -------------------------------------- | ------------------------ | --------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Position = $440 → signal to buy $100   | $60                      | Bot buys $60 (trimmed). $60 ≥ Min Buy Amount so normal trim.                |
| Position = $492 → signal to buy $100   | $8                       | Bot buys **$8** even though $8 < Min Buy Amount, because gap ≥ Min Add Buy. |
| Position = $499.9 → signal to buy $100 | $0.1                     | **Skipped** – gap ($0.1) < Min Add Buy ($5).                                |

**Result:** the position never exceeds $500, and the bot ignores any order if the leftover room is smaller than Min Add Buy.

### Retry Slippage (SOL)

Retry Slippage is the maximum price deviation allowed when the bot retries opening a trade. Do not confuse it with regular [Slippage](https://docs.definest.ai/copy-trading-bot/bot-settings#slippage).

### Fee reserve

**Fee reserve (native only)**\
Keep a small amount of the network’s native coin (SOL, ETH) untouched so you can always pay fees. Works only when trading in the native coin. Leave empty to disable.

**Min native to keep (SOL/ETH)**\
Minimum native balance to preserve. If a buy would push your native balance below this floor, the bot trims the order; if even a minimal spend would breach it, the buy is skipped.

**Min buy amount (above reserve) (SOL/ETH)**\
A buy executes only if the free native balance above the reserve is at least this amount; otherwise the buy is skipped.

**Example (Solana):**

* Wallet balance: 1.00 SOL
* Reserve (Min native to keep): 0.30 SOL
* Min buy amount (above reserve): 0.05 SOL
* Requested buy: 0.80 SOL
* Trim calculation: free above reserve = 1.00 − 0.30 = 0.70 SOL → order trimmed to 0.70 SOL
* Check: 0.70 SOL ≥ 0.05 SOL → buy executes
* Edge case: if free above reserve were 0.03 SOL, the buy would be skipped

### Market cap

Market cap = price × total supply of a token. Use Min / Max to include only wallets that trade tokens whose market cap falls within your range. This helps focus on micro-caps, mid-caps, or larger, more established tokens. If a token’s market cap can’t be read, the If unknown option lets you either ignore this filter or skip that token.

**Example**

* Set Min = $5,000,000, Max = $50,000,000.
* The finder will surface wallets whose recent trades involve tokens between $5M–$50M market cap.
* Tokens outside the range are excluded. If If unknown = Skip token, trades with missing market-cap data are also excluded.

### Liquidity

Liquidity of a coin refers to the ability of the cryptocurrency to be bought or sold quickly on the market without significantly affecting its price. A coin with liquidity of $10 million has a more stable price and allows for larger trades without substantial impact on its price, unlike a coin with liquidity of $100,000.

The lower the liquidity, the higher the slippage, and vice versa.

### Token Age

This is the lifespan of the coin at the moment of purchase. By limiting the minimum and maximum lifetime of a coin, you can choose which coins to buy. If you want to purchase only recently launched coins, set Max CoinLifetime to 120 minutes (2 hours) or 1440 minutes (24 hours).

### Max Tax

This is the maximum allowable commission for buying and selling the coin. In many new coins, the commissions can reach up to 35% in the first few minutes. However, if the coin takes off, these fees will be offset since you bought the coin earlier and at a better price.

## Auto buy

<figure><img src="/files/3b4bwlxM8uPmunXTweDn" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Automatically places a buy when a configured trigger is met.

* The Auto buy block appears when Copy trade is ON.
* It’s OFF by default; settings inside are locked until you toggle it ON (same behavior as Auto sell).
* Auto buy can work even if Copy buy is OFF—your Buy settings still apply.

### After Original Buy

Rules here anchor to the original wallet’s executed price and track the market for a chosen Time window.

* Each rule can fire once per original buy and uses its Buy percentage for size.
* You can add multiple rules; they evaluate independently.

\---

* Price change — percent from the original wallet’s *execution price*.

  Use −X% for dips (buy the drop) or +X% for breakouts (buy the rise).
* Time window — how long that price move must occur (min / h / d).
* Buy percentage — order size = Buy percentage × your base Buy amount (range 1–1000%).

### Price Move

#### Trigger

Buy if price changes by ±X% from the original price within the Time window (min / h / d).

Use −X% for dips (buy the drop) or +X% for rises (buy the breakout).

<figure><img src="/files/Ii79cvlKKr56a2BP3MIE" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

#### Example

* Price change: −15%, Time window: 60 min, Buy percentage: 100%.
* Flow: original buys → price hits −15% within 60 min → one auto-buy executes immediately

<figure><img src="/files/apuSgRQxkW5gGhNKsFX8" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Price Move or Range

An auto-buy rule that triggers on either of two conditions within the same time window:

* Price Move: price reaches ±X% from the original wallet’s executed buy price.
* Price Range: by the end of the window, price is between *Price min* and *Price max* (both in % from the original buy).

Each rule fires once per original buy and sizes the order by Buy percentage. It respects your Buy limits (amounts, caps, budgets, dupe rules, slippage, etc.).

#### **How it works (fields)**

* Price change (±X%) — threshold for the Price Move condition.
* Time window — how long the rule watches the move/range (min / h / d).
* Buy percentage — order size = % × your base Buy amount.
* Price min / Price max — bounds for the Range check at window end (inclusive).

#### Examples

Settings:&#x20;

* *Price change = −15%*
* *Time window = 60 min*
* *Price min = −5%*, *Price max = +5%*
* *Buy percentage = 100%*.

<figure><img src="/files/oxg34ZuKx5vJkSiYg3SC" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

1. **Triggers by Price Move (dip hit −15%)**
   * Price falls to −15% anytime within 60 minutes → auto-buy executes immediately.

<figure><img src="/files/L2xb6p88RHvBypQFnQbb" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

2. **Triggers by Price Range (ends inside band)**
   * Price never hits −15% during the window, but at 60 minutes it sits between −5% and +5% → auto-buy executes at window end.

<figure><img src="/files/1yqcVuGvfNbTiHBObvTq" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

3. **No auto-buy**
   * Price never hits −15%, and at 60 minutes it’s outside −5%…+5% → rule does not fire.

<figure><img src="/files/kqR7KDiUHpG3Vthqc4f8" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Notes

* The two conditions are joined by OR: the first to qualify wins.
* One auto-buy per original buy event. Further behavior depends on “Only while original trade is open” and “Reset on new original buy (same trade)”.

### Only while original trade is open

If ON, the auto-buy triggers only while the original wallet still holds the token during the window. If the original closes the trade, the trigger is cancelled. Turn OFF to allow triggering even after the original closes.

### Reset on new original buy (same trade)

If ON, whenever the original adds another buy in the same trade, any active window from earlier buys is cancelled and a fresh window starts from the latest buy. Turn OFF to keep earlier windows active (multiple auto-buys may fire).

**Flow:** Base Buy amount = $100. The original buys at $1.00. Price drops to $0.85 within 30 minutes → the bot places one auto-buy for $250 (250% of base), respecting your Buy limits/reserve/caps. If the original closes before −15% is reached, the trigger is canceled. If the original buys again in the same trade, the 30-minute window resets from that new buy and the previous window is discarded (because Reset… ON).

### Notes

* Percent is measured from the original’s executed price, not from your average.
* All protection from Buy applies to Auto buy (amount min/max, caps, dupe buy limits, budgets).
* Each auto-buy appears in your trade history as a separate buy made by your bot.

## Sell

### Copy sell

This is the main setting that enables copying sales from the original wallet. If this setting is turned off, the bot will not sell anything.

{% hint style="success" %}
Enable this setting for the bot to be able to sell tokens while following the original wallet.
{% endhint %}

### Retry times

In case of an error during the sale, the bot will attempt to sell as many times as specified here.

Recommended value for Ethereum: 20.

Recommended value for Solana: 2. Max: 5.

### Copy Gas  (ETH)

The concept is the same as [mentioned earlier](https://docs.definest.ai/copy-trading-bot/bot-settings#copy-gas-eth).&#x20;

### Copy Priority Fee (SOL)

The concept is the same as [mentioned earlier](https://docs.definest.ai/copy-trading-bot/bot-settings#copy-priority-fee-sol).&#x20;

### Copy Bribe (SOL)

The concept is the same as [mentioned earlier](https://docs.definest.ai/copy-trading-bot/bot-settings#copy-bribe-sol).&#x20;

### Gas Delta (ETH)

The concept is the same as [mentioned earlier](https://docs.definest.ai/copy-trading-bot/bot-settings#gas-delta-eth).&#x20;

### Priority Fee (SOL)

The concept is the same as [mentioned earlier](https://docs.definest.ai/copy-trading-bot/bot-settings#copy-priority-fee-sol).&#x20;

### Bribe (SOL)

The concept is the same as [mentioned earlier](https://docs.definest.ai/copy-trading-bot/bot-settings#copy-bribe-sol).&#x20;

### Slippage

The concept is the same as [mentioned earlier](https://docs.definest.ai/copy-trading-bot/bot-settings#slippage).&#x20;

### Anti-MEV

The concept is the same as [mentioned earlier](https://docs.definest.ai/copy-trading-bot/bot-settings#anti-mev).&#x20;

### Round up to 100%

If the original wallet sold 95% of the purchased tokens, your bot will also sell 95% by default when Copy Sell is enabled. This setting allows you to round sales up to 100%.

Simply specify the percentage at which to round up to 100% (to sell the entire position).

### Scheduled sell retries

Runs only after the bot’s normal sell retries fail. Applies to all non-manual sells; manual sells are excluded.&#x20;

{% hint style="info" %}
**Retry times: 1–10 (leave blank to disable). Retry every: 1–1800 sec (default 30 sec).**
{% endhint %}

Each scheduled retry fires after the set interval (then repeats on the same interval), uses the same sell logic and standard retries, and respects your limits (balance, fee reserve, slippage, etc.). Retries stop on success, when the position is closed/zero, or when the retry limit is reached.

**Example:**

* Settings: Retry times = 3; Retry every = 300 sec (5 min)
* Attempts: T+5m, T+10m, T+15m
* Outcome: if any attempt succeeds, later attempts are canceled

## Approve (ETH)

Approving a token is the process in the blockchain where you grant permission to a smart contract or decentralized application (dApp) to use a certain amount of your tokens. In simpler terms, you allow the application access to your tokens for a specific purpose.

### Auto approve

{% hint style="success" %}
Make sure to enable this setting for the bot to be able to sell your tokens.
{% endhint %}

### Retry times

In case of an error while executing the Approve, the bot will attempt to execute it as many times as specified here.

Recommended value: 4.

### Gas Delta (gwei)

The concept is the same as [mentioned earlier](https://docs.definest.ai/copy-trading-bot/bot-settings#gas-delta-gwei).&#x20;

Recommended values: 1 or 2 GWEI.

## Auto sell

This setting allows the bot to automatically sell your tokens based on Stop-loss, Take-profit, and Time-fix.

{% hint style="success" %}
Enable this setting for sales based on Stop-loss, Take-profit, and Time-fix.
{% endhint %}

## Take-profit

Take-Profit allows you to automatically secure profits when an asset’s price reaches a specified level. This helps prevent losing your gains due to sudden market changes and reduces the emotional impact on your trading decisions.

Example: You bought Bitcoin at $40,000 and set a Take-Profit at a 10% profit. When the price increases by 10% to $44,000, your position will automatically close, locking in a 10% profit.

In this example:

* Price Change - This is the price of the token at which the order to close the position is triggered.
* Volume - This is the percentage of tokens that will be sold when the Price Change is reached.

<figure><img src="/files/Hj5B0eLnwEoYQBwjoKon" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Take-Profit Ladder

A Take-Profit Ladder helps secure profits in parts, reducing the risk of missing out on gains from further price movements. Instead of closing the entire position at one profit level, the trader closes it partially at each step of the ladder, allowing for gradual profit-taking while keeping part of the position open for potential further growth.

You bought Bitcoin at $40,000 and set three Take-Profit levels with gains:

* First Take-Profit at +5% profit ($42,000) — closes 33% of the position.
* Second Take-Profit at +10% profit ($44,000) — closes another 33% of the position.
* Third Take-Profit at +15% profit ($46,000) — closes the remaining 34% of the position.

When the price hits $42,000, the first part of the position closes with a 5% profit, at $44,000 the second part closes with a 10% profit, and at $46,000 the remaining part closes with a 15% profit.

<figure><img src="/files/tSOGFbcRlbB8sETUF1xY" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Stop-loss

A stop-loss helps limit your losses by automatically closing a trade if the asset’s price moves against you. This protects your capital from significant losses and helps manage risk without needing to constantly monitor the market.

Example: You bought Bitcoin at $50,000 and set a stop-loss at a -10% loss. If the price decreases by -10% to $45,000, your position will automatically close, limiting the loss to 10%.

* Stop price - This is the price of the token at which the order to close the position is triggered.
* Volume - This is the percentage of tokens that will be sold when the Stop price is reached.

<figure><img src="/files/wb35xVhgUDndCZ10wRa0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Conditional Stop-loss

**Conditional Stop-Loss** is a type of order that automatically closes your position when certain market conditions are met. Unlike a regular stop-loss, which is activated immediately upon reaching a specified price, a conditional stop-loss is set at the Trigger price, and from that moment, it functions like a regular stop-loss, activating when the Stop price is reached.

**Conditional Stop-Loss consists of:**

* **Trigger Price** - This is the price level at which the Conditional Stop-Loss is activated and becomes a valid order.
* **Stop Price** - This is the price of the token at which the order to close the position is triggered. The Stop price is calculated from the Trigger price.
* **Volume** - This is the percentage of tokens that will be sold when the Stop price is reached.

**Example:** If the token price increases by 100% (doubles), a Stop-Loss will be set for a price change of -15% with the sale of all tokens. This type of stop-loss allows us to secure profits in case the token rises first and then begins to fall.

<figure><img src="/files/0nTGASlYM2KTpPDUEXwC" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

<figure><img src="/files/Be8XlCrFnIY7SEbiU6P6" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### **Stop-loss** Ladder

The stop-loss ladder allows you to distribute risk across multiple levels, reducing the likelihood of significant losses in the event of a sharp market movement against your position. Instead of setting a single stop-loss, you place several, which provides flexibility and better protection for your capital.

In the case of a Conditional Stop-Loss, the ladder can help increase your profits.

**Example:** Three stop-losses are set:

* The first stop-loss limits our losses if the price drops by 15% immediately after purchase. In this case, we will sell 100% of the position.
* The second stop-loss activates only when the price increases by 100% (doubles). If the price then drops by 15%, the bot will sell 100% of the tokens, securing an 85% profit.
* The third stop-loss is similar to the second but activates when the price reaches 200% (triples). If the price then drops by 15%, the bot will sell 100% of the tokens, securing a profit of 185%.

The number of stop-losses is unlimited. You can choose to sell not 100% of the tokens, but 1%, 5%, 10%, 30%, 50%, 85%, etc. It all depends on your trading strategy.

<figure><img src="/files/Z8A3MraxVl4c9LGJnne0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### Timeout

When the Stop Loss timeout option is enabled, the system will delay the execution of the trade for the specified amount of time (in seconds).

This is useful for preventing accidental stop-loss triggers due to temporary market fluctuations. If the price reaches the stop-loss level but quickly rebounds, the timeout allows the system to wait for confirmation of a sustained price movement before executing the order.

<figure><img src="/files/2icZz8vNTY98NHVIdTCq" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

When the price drops to or below the stop-loss level you have set, the system will wait for the specified time. If, after this time has elapsed, the price is above the stop-loss price (as shown in the image below), the stop-loss order will not be executed, and the trade will remain open.

<figure><img src="/files/D7OphlZCjmlEbfzu5aaD" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

If, after the timeout expires, the price is still at or below the stop-loss price (as shown in the image below), the stop-loss order will be executed, and the trade will be closed.

<figure><img src="/files/QVixF0lMGd1L32plcPWf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

The decision to execute the stop-loss order will be made only after the timeout has elapsed.

### Activate stop-losses after N buys

This setting delays the placement of stop-losses until the specified number of purchases has been made. If you set it to 2 buys, the stop-losses will only be placed after the bot has made 2 purchases in a single trade.

<figure><img src="/files/PZRQJyiQYsUZOMxzzY8r" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This can be useful when following frequently trading traders who may average down (buy more of the same token) multiple times during a token’s decline. Without this setting, your stop-loss may trigger too quickly, not allowing for averaging down.

### Don't dupe buy in this trade after the stop-loss

When this setting is enabled, any further purchases of the token will be prohibited after any stop-loss is triggered in this trade.

<figure><img src="/files/JD5QXKa8ro9K1gXP0V6O" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

This can be useful when following frequently trading traders who may average down (buy more of the same token) multiple times during a token’s decline. Some traders may average down up to 30 times, investing 100% of their capital into one coin.

## Time-fix

Time-fix is a time-based sell trigger (alongside Stop-Loss and Take-Profit). Instead of reacting to price immediately, it waits for a set period and then sells a portion of the position.

**How it works**

* When the Time Delta elapses (counted from a chosen Time since anchor), the bot places a sell for Volume% of the current token balance.
* Each rule fires once; multiple rules (a “ladder”) sell from the remaining balance as they trigger.
* Uses the same sell logic as normal sells (limits, slippage, min amounts, fee reserve, scheduled sell retries, etc.).

### Standard Time-fix

* Time since — the anchor point to start counting from:
  * Coin’s launch: since the token’s first trades on chain.
  * First Buy: since your first buy in this trade.
  * Last Buy: since your most recent buy in this trade.
* Time Delta (min) — how long to wait.
* Volume (%) — how much of the position to sell when the timer ends.

Example

*Time since:* Last Buy • *Time Delta:* 600 min • *Volume:* 25% → After 10 hours from your last buy, sell 25% of the remaining tokens (regardless of price).

<figure><img src="/files/7J48pOFWSwZII7KokX5G" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

You can also use a Time-Fix ladder in accordance with your trading strategy.

### Price Range Time-fix

Adds a price condition at the end of the timer: sell only if the price is inside a band around the anchor price.

**Extra fields**

* Price min (%), Price max (%) — acceptable change vs the anchor price (the price at the chosen *Time since*). Bounds are inclusive.

**When it fires**

* At Time Delta, if Price min ≤ percent change ≤ Price max, sell Volume%.
* If the price is outside the band, the rule does not sell.<br>

<figure><img src="/files/Y27q6UJrXZd4Pj1Jw6ZR" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Example 1**

* *Time since:* Last Buy
* *Time Delta:* 60 min&#x20;
* *Price min/max:* −5% … +5%&#x20;
* *Volume:* 100%

→ After 60 min, sell 100% only if price is within −5% to +5% of your last-buy price.

**Example 2**

* Same settings, but price is +9% at 60 min

→ No sell (outside the band).

## Bad Trader Protection

Bad Trader Protection is a safety net that monitors your bot’s performance and—if any user-defined loss threshold is hit—automatically pauses copying or liquidates positions. Its goal is to stop you from following a wallet that has suddenly turned unprofitable.

### **Condition types**

| Indicator (dropdown) | What the trigger checks | Value range |
| -------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------- | ----------- |
| **PnL Total** | Total PnL falls below **X USD** within **T** | any USD |
| **PnL Realized** | Profit & loss from closed trades only | any USD |
| **ROI Total**        | Overall return (open + closed trades) drops below **X** % in **T**   | –100 % … ∞  |
| **ROI Realized**     | Return on **closed** trades only                                     | –100 % … ∞  |
| **WinRate Total**    | Share of winning trades (open + closed) falls below **X %** in **T** | 0 % – 100 % |
| **WinRate Realized** | Share of winning **closed** trades                                   | 0 % – 100 % |
| **Loss streak**      | At least **N** trades in a row, each with PnL below **X USD**        | N ≥ 1       |

{% hint style="warning" %}
**You can mix and match as many conditions as you like.**

**Protection triggers if any one is met.**
{% endhint %}

### **Actions when triggered**&#x20;

| Action                  | Result                        |
| ----------------------- | ----------------------------- |
| **Stop copy/auto buys** | Ignore new buy signals |
| **Stop copy sells** | Ignore new sell signals |
| **Sell all assets** | Liquidate every open position |

<figure><img src="/files/LILgraf1Z61eOZtyzJPs" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Example**

* *PnL Total over 24 h drops below –150 USD*
* *ROI Total over 3 h drops below –10 %*
* *Loss streak: at least 5 trades, PnL per trade below –20 USD*
* *Actions:* Stop copying buys and Sell all assets

How it works

1. The bot has lost $160 in the last 24 h. That meets the first condition.
2. Protection triggers → the bot stops copying any new buys and instantly liquidates all current positions.

# Bot groups

You can create any number of wallets/bots to follow one or multiple original wallets.

These bots can be grouped into one or several groups, making it easier to track overall profitability metrics.

<figure><img src="/files/rnZ1zI7jEo6HpTR0w4Hf" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

For example, you can create 3 groups of wallets/bots:

* **Traders** - for following frequently trading wallets that earn 5%-40% profit on each trade.
* **Snipers** - for following wallets that invest only in newly launched tokens with the goal of achieving 10,000% returns.
* **Investors** - long-term traders, where trades can last for months.

Each group can contain any number of wallets, for example, 3 wallets each. As a result, you will be able to see the profitability of each group (strategy) and draw conclusions.

### How to Create a New Group of Bots/Wallets

1. Click Add bots group +
2. Enter the name of the group.
3. Done!

### How to Move Wallets Between Bot Groups

To the left of the wallet icon, there is an icon with 6 dots. Grab the wallet by this icon and drag it to the desired group. All group metrics will be recalculated immediately.

<figure><img src="/files/TBfMsoTgK9EeB96MtKGz" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

### How to Rename a Bot Group

To the right of each group, there is an icon of sliders for settings. Click on it and enter the current name of the group.

<figure><img src="/files/y2pfKdyTVc8GGBHmtd7B" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

# Group Settings

## Group Name

Display name for this bot group. You can rename it anytime—this won’t affect the bots or their settings.

## Buy

### Max active buys per token

Sets a group-wide cap on the number of open buy entries for the same token across all bots in this group. Applies to all buys (copied, manual, auto). When the cap is reached, any new buy for that token (from any bot in the group) is skipped until one entry closes. If both group and bot limits exist, the stricter one applies. Leave blank for no group limit.

**Example:**

Set to 5. Across three bots you already have 5 open buys in TOKEN. A new buy signal appears on any bot → it’s skipped until one of the five entries closes.

# Bot page

## **Overview of the Bot Page**

The bot page consists of:

* A block with information about your wallet.
* A block with information about the original wallet (the one you are following).
* Main control buttons.
* **Open Trades** - a block with open trades (your wallet).

<figure><img src="/files/DqfWJskLMS8TpoRMiWFr" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## Swap

<figure><img src="/files/us9GRUZeSXDGKFE3K64Y" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Exchange between the native coin and the stable on the current network

(Solana: SOL ⇄ USDC; Ethereum: ETH ⇄ USDT).

**Fields & controls**

* From — amount you sell. Token selector on the right; quick chips 25% / 50% / Max use your available balance. USD estimate is shown below.
* To — amount you receive. Auto-calculated from the current rate (read-only).
* ↕ Reverse — swap the sides (From/To) and update the CTA.

**Action**

* Swap A → B — executes the trade. The button is disabled until the amount is valid and you have enough balance.

**Price & Fee**

* Price — execution quote, e.g. 1 SOL ≈ 221.74 USDC (may update with the market).
* Fee — total estimated fee.
  * Solana: Definest 0.10% + pool fee \~0.04% (varies by pool) + priority fee 0.0001 SOL (paid in SOL).
  * Ethereum: Definest 0.10% + network gas in ETH. *Pool/liquidity fee may apply and will be shown once available.*
  * Final fee may differ slightly at execution; slippage is not a fee.

**Notes**

* You must have enough native coin for fees; otherwise the swap won’t start.
* After success you’ll see a confirmation (amounts swapped and effective price); you can start a New swap or Close.

### Auto swap

{% hint style="info" %}
While Auto swap is on, manual Swap is hidden to avoid conflicts.
{% endhint %}

Automatically keeps your native-coin balance near a Target by swapping with the stablecoin.

* Turn Auto swap On (manual Swap is hidden to avoid conflicts).
* Choose SOL balance units (USD or SOL).
* Set thresholds: Buy if balance < X (tops up to Target), Target balance, Sell if balance > Y (sells down to Target).

**Example:**

* Units: USD. Buy if < 100 → Target 200 → Sell if > 300
* If your SOL balance is $80, the bot buys SOL from USDC up to $200
* If your SOL balance is $320, the bot sells SOL to USDC down to $200

<figure><img src="/files/gaGfSt6I50M0q3J3XjD2" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

{% hint style="info" %}
*When Auto swap is on, the Swap button shows a green “A” badge — Auto swap is active*
{% endhint %}

<figure><img src="/files/51bOonx3ImLLfRJcQiD8" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## **Main Control Buttons**

* **Settings** — open full bot settings.
* USDC / SOL — select the quote currency the bot trades with on Solana (on Ethereum this will be USDT / ETH). It also defines the currency for limits in *Buy* and *Advanced*.
* **Copy Trade** — master switch for mirroring the original wallet. When off, the bot does not track the wallet’s buys/sells and the Copy buy and Copy sell switches are ignored (no copying happens). When on, copying follows your Copy buy / Copy sell settings and limits.
* Copy buy — copy the wallet’s buys (subject to your limits).
* Copy sell — copy the wallet’s sells. If off, positions are held until your own rules or manual actions.
* Sell all assets — market-sell all tokens currently held by the bot and close open positions (doesn’t touch your base balances like SOL/USDC).
* Blacklist — add tokens you don’t want the bot to buy again.
* Buy any token — open the quick buy dialog.

## Open trades

Here, the open trades of your wallet are displayed. While a trade is open, the bot continuously monitors and updates its data.

<figure><img src="/files/kSeTKt7j7BloE8dJT8Rc" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Available Actions in an Open Trade:**

<figure><img src="/files/tgiY9VixWRPsGOfpnStN" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

* **Buy ON / OFF** — Enable/disable copying additional buys for this trade. Manual buys use Buy on amount.
* **Sell ON / OFF** — Enable/disable copying sells/exits for this trade. When OFF, the position is held until your rules or a manual action.
* **Blacklist ON / OFF** — Add/remove the token from the bot’s blacklist. Prevents future buys of this token; does not close the current position.
* **G SL ON / OFF** — Global Stop-Loss, applies to all trades.
* **G TP ON / OFF** — Global Take-Profit, applies to all trades.
* **G TF ON / OFF** — Global Time-Fix/expiry, applies to all trades.
* **Buy on amount** — One-off manual buy for a specified amount (in the selected Trade with currency).
* **Sell %** — One-off manual sell of the chosen percentage of the current position.
* **☢️ Sell** — Emergency sell of 100% at market (“panic sell”).
* **+ SL/TP** — Add local Stop-Loss/Take-Profit for this trade only (overrides global values).
* **Close** — Mark the trade closed without selling; PnL/ROI remain visible and copying stops.
* **SCAM** — Mark as scam; treat any remaining tokens as lost and lock in the loss in metrics.
* **Share** — Create a shareable image (PnL, ROI, time in trade, X-multiple, token name); you can also copy a link.

## **Original Wallet Open Trades**

This status includes trades that:

* Were opened in the original wallet but have not been opened in yours for the following reasons:
  * Insufficient funds in the balance.
  * The coin does not meet the bot's settings (fees, liquidity, coin lifetime, etc.).
  * You closed the trade, but the original wallet has not yet done so.

<figure><img src="/files/BZKw498cvRh9KfNuLyot" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Available Action:**

* **Blacklist ON / OFF** — Add/remove this token from the bot’s blacklist. Prevents future buys of this token; does not auto-close the current position.
* **Retry buy anyway** — Re-run a buy right now, overriding soft filters (e.g., liquidity/age/tax checks or risk guards). Hard limits still apply (balance, Copy Trade OFF, token blacklisted, etc.). *Use with caution.*
* **Close trade** — Mark the followed wallet’s trade as closed so the bot won’t attach future buys of this token to this trade. If copying is enabled, the next buy will open a new trade. No tokens are sold; existing PnL/ROI remain visible.
* **Buy on amount** — One-off manual buy for a specified amount (in the current Trade with currency). Counts toward your position limits.

<figure><img src="/files/d4gAKY5vlQ0dIKeCb1OL" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

## **Closed Trades**

This status includes fully completed trades for both you and the original wallet.

<figure><img src="/files/DupcTVM8NKMmz20Kf6q0" alt=""><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

**Available Action:**

* **Buy on Amount** - Manual purchase of this token for the specified amount.
* **Buy on amount** — One-off manual buy for a specified amount (in the current Trade with currency). Counts toward your position limits.
* **Share** — Create a shareable image (PnL, ROI, time in trade, X-multiple, token name); you can also copy a link.

# Error Messages

## insufficient funds

{% hint style="danger" %}
Fail to buy PRIV token for 0.125 ETH \~$291.49 by API buy command. Attempt 3. Fail to send transaction, type=\<class 'ValueError'>, message=ValueError({'code': -32000, 'message': '<mark style="background-color:red;">insufficient funds for gas</mark> \* price + value: balance 141947753571836880, tx cost 149184184735500000, overshot 7236431163663120'})
{% endhint %}

The error message indicates that your wallet does not have enough funds to cover the transaction cost, which includes both the amount to buy the token (0.125 ETH) and the gas fees.

Solution: Verify that your wallet has sufficient funds not only to buy the token but also to cover gas fees. Add more ETH to your wallet to cover both the purchase cost and gas fees.

## Smart Contract Issues

{% hint style="danger" %}
Fail to sell 100% of FUXI token for \~$41.91 by time fix.. Attempt 4. Fail to build transaction, type=\<class 'web3.exceptions.ContractLogicError'>, message=execution reverted: TransferHelper: <mark style="background-color:red;">TRANSFER\_FROM\_FAILED</mark>
{% endhint %}

Smart Contract Issues: The FUXI token’s smart contract or the DEX may have restrictions or bugs preventing the transfer.

Check Contract: Review the FUXI and DEX smart contract documentation to ensure there are no additional requirements or restrictions.

## Insufficient Liquidity or low slippage

{% hint style="danger" %}
Fail to sell 100% of Au token for \~$92.41 by time fix.. Attempt 4. Fail to build transaction, type=\<class 'web3.exceptions.ContractLogicError'>, message=execution reverted: <mark style="background-color:red;">UniswapV2: INSUFFICIENT\_OUTPUT\_AMOUNT</mark>
{% endhint %}

### Insufficient Liquidity

The liquidity pool might not have enough token volume to execute the trade.

Check Liquidity: Ensure that the liquidity pool for Au and ETH (or another pair) has sufficient volume.

### Low slippage

The message from UniswapV2 indicates that the amount of received funds is less than the minimum expected. This could be due to high price volatility or slippage settings.

Increase Allowed Slippage: Adjust the bot’s settings to allow a higher slippage tolerance when executing the trade.

# Getting Started with Definest API

### How Definest API works

Definest actually has two different APIs, and you’ll need a separate key for each one.

### 1. Analytics API

This key unlocks our on-chain analytics engine. With it you can pull deep wallet data, build custom filters, and hunt for profitable addresses. Analytics access starts on the [**Premium plan**](https://definest.ai/plan) (and on any higher plan we add later).

### 2. Trading Plus API

This key lets you do the hands-on stuff—place buy/sell orders, run copy-trading, and manage your trading bots or bot groups. Because it can move real money, creating or regenerating this key requires a quick two-step check through email *and* Telegram. Trading Plus works on every plan, including Free; only the request limits change with each tier.

***

We’re steadily adding new endpoints to both APIs. Want the latest updates? Keep an eye on our [Telegram channel ](https://t.me/definest_ai)and our [X (Twitter)](https://x.com/definest_ai) feed.

# Authentication

The Analytics API uses API key authentication through the `X-API-KEY` header. This authentication method provides secure access to analytics endpoints for users with paid subscription plans.

## Obtaining an API Key

* **Have a paid subscription** - API access is not available for free plan users
* Get or create your Analytics API key on [Definest API page](https://definest.ai/api)

## API Key usage

Include your API key in the header for all Analytics API requests: `X-API-KEY`

```
curl -H "X-API-KEY: your_api_key_here"
```

## Rate Limits

The limit is currently set at **60 requests per minute** and **5k requests per day**.

If you reach the limit, request will return a 429 status code with an error for every request beyond the limit before it will be reset.

# Wallet analytics

The wallets endpoint allows you to access various information about wallets and their trades

# Cut-off dates

Cut-off date in our context is a specific date from which historical trading data of cryptocurrency wallets becomes available. All data prior to this date is excluded from analysis and is not displayed in the service.

<table><thead><tr><th width="197">Chain</th><th>Cut-off date</th></tr></thead><tbody><tr><td><strong>Ethereum</strong></td><td>September 1, 2023</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Solana</strong></td><td>February 1, 2025</td></tr><tr><td><strong>Binance Smart Chain</strong></td><td>soon</td></tr></tbody></table>

# Trading bot fees

Successful transactions through the Definest CopyTrading Bot (manually or automatically) will be charged a 1% tax on every buy & sell. Simple transfers are NOT taxed.

## Fee Extraction Mechanism <a href="#fee-extraction-mechanism" id="fee-extraction-mechanism"></a>

### Solana

Fees will be directly extracted in the same transaction.

### Other Chains

The bot will NOT take the 1% directly from each transaction. It simply accumulates how much you owe us, and doesn't extract any fees until you accumulate more than 0.01 ETH in unpaid fees.&#x20;

The fees accumulate per **Definest** account, **NOT** per wallet, and the bot will always extract the fee from the wallet with the **highest balance** in the concerned chain. The bot will deal with this silently, and you can always verify your trading volume by checking your block explorer.

# Credits & Pricing plans

## **What are Credits?**

Credits are necessary for searching wallets and viewing wallet pages. Your current credit balance is displayed in the upper right corner:

## Pricing plans
